The 100 Club is one of the classic spots in London dedicated to live music. A short while ago Paul McCartney played here, and before him Metallica, The Sex Pistols, The Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters. The reputation is well-deserved - it's got a good vibe about it and it's small enough for a particular warm and cozy atmosphere. Nevertheless, the sound quality was average-ish or below, although I don't know whose fault it was.

Saint Jude? These guys are rally in vogue. Partly because of the ravishing reviews they get from everywhere and partly thanks to their gigs with Jimmy Page and Ronnie Wood, but mostly because they are actually that good! Their songs are strong, dynamic, catchy - proper rock'n'roll tunes that hook you in the mood straight away. Lynne Jackman is being put in the same league with Tina Turner, Etta James, Janis Joplin, Aretha Franklin and if you listen to their recordings, you'll immediately understand why.
